Jungle Junction - Wheel Around Fun! Toy Review

Boo was lucky enough to be sent two Jungle Junction toys to review, he was delighted to open the parcel and see that it was for him! For those of you who have yet to experience Jungle Junction, it is a BAFTA nominated series from Disney aimed at pre-schoolers. Flair have released a new series of toys to enable children to bring the action to life in their own homes!

Ripping open the packaging he was excited by the two brightly coloured characters, a pink bright eyed pig and Boo's favourite 'Taxi Crab' - a bright red crab on wheels! I had wondered if the fact the animals were on wheels might bother him, but in fact he seemed delighted that he could easily make them move!

We were sent two 'Wheel around fun' sets, in each pack comes one character, two signs, a set of stickers for use on the signs and on the piece of road included. The road is a great idea, as Boo loves 'adventures' and refers to this as his 'map'. Each character comes with a different piece of road so you can fit them all together to make a larger scene! The only problem we found was that as the road is paper it was inevitably quite fragile in a toddlers hands, in fact to prevent tears we ended up gluing it to a piece of cardboard!

I found Boo was very interested in the signs and became inquisitive about what each sticker meant  "Why does it point that way?" and traffic lights became a talking point to! This led onto us talking about road safety which in my opinion is fantastic, and I was delighted to hear Boo shout at Grandad for not stopping at the edge of the pavement and looking and listening!

There are four characters to collect in the 'Wheel around Fun' sets, RRP £3.99 - £6.99 and Boo has already asked if he could collect the other two characters so I guess they're already on his Christmas list!
