Maclaren Celebration Candle, Mummy 'Must have!'

I was given a Maclaren candle when I was pregnant, and laughed thinking to myself that surely they only made pushchairs?? I'm also a bit of a candle snob, preferring the likes of Yankee Candles to anything else available.
Packaged in a smart tubular box, there was something about the packaging that made me want to peek inside, and when i finally braved opening the box I struggled - really struggled! The candle was so snug inside its packaging it took sometime to open the box as the lid was stuck fast!
Finally retrieving the candle, I was delighted to see the candle presented in a glass jar with a silver coloured lid, i found myself considering how nice it would look in the sittingroom, how elegant!

Anyone with a child knows that candles don't mix with small children, so i decided it should be used for my relaxation in the bathroom! How precious those moments to yourself suddenly become when you have children, and with a newborn baby back in the house I'm finding myself really appreciating every moment i spent pampering myself in pregnancy! I had decided while pregnant, to ensure i allowed myself atleast one night a week where i would have a luxurious pamper session all to myself  - in reality this just means a long hot bath with relaxing music and a luxurious candle - the ultimate in relaxation! The Maclaren Celebration candle is now my new luxurious treat!

The candle is beautifully scented with 100% pure organic essential oils of Lavender, Patchouli, Bergamot, Sage and Geranium. It is subtle enough to be enjoyed without it over powering the room, therefore ideal to be enjoyed by Mums to be (I certainly found many smells including my own perfume overwhelming while pregnant!) aswell as new Mums!

I think it is a lovely gift to give or receive, the glass jar looks super and the silver lid helps preserve the scent as well as look beautiful! Price wise I believe that although it is quite expensive, it offers great value for money when you consider you are getting organic aromatherapy oils, a pure wax lead free candle, beautiful presentation! Now, my big question.. when will we be able to buy Maclaren Candles at more stores?
